“My priority is to ensure that our students are welcomed every day into a safe, stimulating educational environment which helps them grow in every aspect; where they enjoy participating in educational activities based on proven pedagogical research and education professionals' experience, not on the latest trends.” - Dr. Ilya Eigenbrot, School Principal

What is a key teaching method you’d adapt to fit Trinity’s unique approach?

Student-driven project work is already a key part of the programme at Trinity; however, it is new and challenging for many students (and parents). We aim to raise awareness of the importance of project-based learning, so that it becomes a natural part of students’ development.

What achievements would you like to highlight from the first year of the school?

Our most important - and most tangible - achievement is that our students love coming to school. One of my litmus tests is to greet the students when they come to school in the morning and it's always a pleasure to see the smiles on their faces as they greet me.
Another major achievement is our progress towards International Baccalaureate Middle Years Programme accreditation - and last but not least, our strong and steady growth as word spreads of our happy students and quality education.

What languages are taught as part of the multilingual curriculum at Trinity? Can you also tell us about the English stream?

We currently teach English, Russian, Greek and French, with Ukrainian as an extra-curricular option. However, we have also had some demand for German and it is quite possible that we will introduce it at some point in the future. Mandarin and Japanese would be good too!
The English stream allows non-Russian speakers to access our excellent educational programme and Russian speakers to prepare for the IB Diploma Programme.

Describe the "Trinity student". Why do you think families from different countries choose your school?

Our students are friendly, well-balanced and happy - happy to be at school with their peers and happy to learn together. We are one big family of learners and anyone visiting our school can sense this as soon as they cross the threshold.

Can you tell us about the school's plans for the coming academic year?

We are aiming to be accredited for the Middle Years Programme and look forward to submitting the relevant documentation for the Primary Years Programme and the Diploma Programme.
We also want to continue to grow, and the launch of the English stream is an important step in attracting students whose first language is not necessarily Russian - we are well on our way to becoming a truly international school.
