How Traveling Opens a New World of Opportunities as per Michael Bievetski

It’s a well-documented fact that travel broadens horizons. It’s also good for the soul, and as the adage goes – “Travel is the only thing you buy that makes you richer.” Yet, as far as entrepreneur and investor Michael Bievetski is concerned, travel also opens up a whole new world of opportunities.

“When you travel, you meet new people, forge new contacts, experience different ways of doing things, and get the chance to see things from a completely new perspective. What’s not to like?” said Michael Bievetski, before adding, “Travel also gives you opportunities, ideas, a platform to build an international network, and most of all, it’s an enriching experience.”

As you can probably gather, Michael Bievetski is a keen advocate of traveling. Moving from one place to another in search of new adventures and experiences is something that has defined the professional consultant’s life. Born in Moscow but raised in Germany, Bievetski has since settled in Dubai, where he spends his time working from the beach or up-market restaurants.

Bievetski laughed, “The beach makes for a great office. It’s one of the things I love the most about Dubai, alongside the jet-skiing, yachting, and connecting with other likeminded entrepreneurs. The thing is, I wouldn’t have had the chance to enjoy any of that if I wasn’t willing to travel. I think a lot of people are afraid of moving to a new country because they have a fundamental fear of change. When I first moved to Germany, I was a stranger in a strange land who couldn’t speak a word of German, but that soon changed and I realized that change is nothing to be afraid of – it’s something to be sought out and embraced. This is a philosophy I apply to both my personal and professional life.”

It’s Michael Bievetski’s trademark swashbuckling approach to life that has earned him such success. His clients relate to his unbridled enthusiasm, and his demeanor of a well-traveled and cultured man gives off just the right impression in the circles he moves in.

Bievetski explained, “When anyone asks me how they can be successful, I tell them to travel, to immerse themselves in different cultures, to broaden their minds, and never get stuck in a rut. There’s a big, wide world out there, and it’s your job to explore as much of it as you possibly can.”
