CHRISTIAN LUBUTEN: TRAVELING AS INSPIRATION

Last year, Christian decorated the tree in the classic colors for his brand and Christmas - red and gold. He painted the tree with live cones, decorative patterns, and toys in the form of shoes. Completed the Christmas tree look - a huge crown at the top.

Alongside a Christmas tree in a snowy forest glade, along with many gifts, is the Loubi Express, a sparkling red train named after Louboutin. Looby Express came with its own Cocktail Conductor, with champagne, cocktails and classic Claridge's canapes complete with a nostalgic Christmas soundtrack.

DIANA VON FURSTENBERG: THE TREE OF LOVE

Diane von Fürstenberg designed the Christmas tree and showed how it doesn't matter which type of tree you choose - Christmas tree, pine, fir or living linden in a large pot. The main thing is that it should be about love and unite around you those whom you value. The Tree of Love was inspired by Diana's passion and her belief in the power of love, symbolizing life and nature. The six-meter tall sculptural tree has been painted blue with glitter and shimmer and is adorned with over 8,000 hand-painted silver leaves, glass balls and 150 handmade glass hearts.

KARL LAGERFELD: INVERTED FIR

In 2017, the legend of the fashion world - Karl Lagerfeld created an upside-down Christmas tree. The designer admitted: the strongest impressions of Christmas are childhood. He was inspired by them when creating a festive installation. It was a series of inverted fir trees, centered on a 16-foot inverted tree resembling a silver stalactite, topped with gilded silver roots and a multifaceted mirrored star. Icelandic rugs were placed below to recreate the feeling of a recent snowfall.

DOMENICO DOLCE AND STEFANO GABBANA: CHILDREN'S MEMORIES AND SICILIAN MOTIVES

In 2014, inspired by childhood memories, they unveiled an eight-meter tree that was adorned with over 450 Italian hand-painted glass toys representing the various holiday traditions that take place the night before Christmas. The base of the tree was decorated with 30 handmade Sicilian puppets (Pupi).

For hotels, restaurants, museums and theaters, designers create works of glass and light, and after Christmas, designer trees are put up for auction.

ES DEVLIN IN THE MUSEUM

Designer Es Devlin puts on a show for Beyoncé and Kany West. The Victoria and Albert Museum in London hired a celebrity set designer to create a Christmas tree, traditionally placed at the entrance every year. Es, a fan of kinetic art, created an unusual art object that looks like a Christmas tree only in shape. The composition is made up of many digital plates, onto which the words taken from the visitors' reviews of the museum left in 2017 are projected, and live voices sound from the speakers.

The composition was constantly changing, and everyone who came to the museum could take part in its creation by dictating their text into the microphones installed at the entrance. A special program processed it and displayed it on plates and in speakers. Es combines his creation on the verge of sound and digital with opera, calling it The Singing Tree.

ILLARIA VENTURINI FENDY IN THE OPERA

The heir to the Fendi fashion empire, Illaria Venturini Fendi, opened her own brand Carmina Campus more than ten years ago. Under this brand, Ilaria produces unusual art objects from recycled materials. Slamp, a manufacturer of designer plastic lamps, invited Ilaria to join forces. The designer used the scraps left over from the release of the Slamp models to create an unusual Recycled Tree. The art object was made in a single copy and presented at the Neapolitan Opera House.
