The Most Creative Luxury Fashion Show Organizers in the Spotlight

A fashion show is not only about presenting new collections, but also about creating a whole universe around them. Like theaters or Hollywood movies, clothes are presented in a particular setting, situation, or atmosphere, which gives them a quirky and unexpected look.

"Scenographer" is a profession of creatives and artists who transcribe an atmosphere, accompany styles of clothing to create a situation, and develop new ideas so that each collection is unique.

Alexandre de Betak, Dévi Sok, and Olivier Massart have been working behind the scenes for years and are behind the most majestic fashion show you have ever seen.

Diversifying and changing our vision of luxury fashion is what Devi Sok is aiming for by locating fashion shows in the most unlikely places: disused garages, museums, art galleries ... to identify unexplored spaces.

Before starting each fashion event, Devi Sok is aware of the budget she will have, the number of guests, and starts with a few ideas. She is then responsible for deciding the route the models will have to take, the location of the light in the space, and the creation of the sets.

3. Olivier Massart, the creator of the “dream show”

Olivier Massart, one of the most renowned scenographers in the history of fashion, has organized more than 7,500 shows of the biggest Haute Couture brands since the 1950s.

He transformed the catwalks by creating a new rhythm and introducing new ways of presenting a collection.

His great ambition, his creative vision, and his cheek allowed him to express his art by relocating the classic podiums at the Stade de France, the Great Wall of China, the Olympia, on the wings of an AirFrance plane, or in a parking lot.
