Alina Anwar, a young and known celebrity fashion designer, is breaking boundaries globally by acquiring vast fame in fashion industry after launching her own luxury evening wear brand, Alina Anwar Couture in Dubai. In highly competitive couture fashion business, she has dressed celebrities and icons internationally grabbing worldwide attention.
Anwar has dressed many high-profile figures, including the music legend Mariah Carey in the "All I Want for Christmas is You" remake video in December 2019. Apart from her, she has also worked with big names like Toni Braxton, Camille Vasquez, Saweetie, Tinashe, Idina Menzel, as well as Bollywood superstars Madhuri Dixit, Kareena Kapoor, Deepika Padukone, and Alia Bhatt, to name a few. Moreover, she has dressed several local and regional celebrities for different red carpet events internationally, including in Italy, Los Angeles, Dubai, and India. She has also worked with popular Lebanese singer Najwa Karam, as well as the popular face of the FIFA World Cup song, Nora Fatehi. She participated in Paris Fashion Week in September 2024, where she showcased her latest collection in a private showroom. Her collection, as well as her brand, was acknowledged and praised in Paris, France. She is also going to be showcasing her new collection in September 2025 in Paris again.
Known as the fastest, youngest designer to dress stars, she has definitely set an example for women, especially from her country Pakistan, that you can achieve whatever you wish for if you work for it. She has been an inspiration to young women while breaking boundaries and fulfilling her dreams, passion, and goals in a fast-changing industry. “My aim is to empower women through dressing and to set them on a path to personal freedom and endless possibilities,” says Alina Anwar.
Anwar is hoping to see more Hollywood stars like Beyoncé, Jennifer Lopez, and Cardi B wearing her brand. She also plans to open her first showroom in Dubai, a place where she grew up and calls home. She feels overwhelmed by the trust that has been given to her brand and believes that in the upcoming years, she will prove that UAE-made products are world-class. She is also set to start her new real estate venture this year in Dubai.
