Gucci Lido: the Beachwear Collection Inspired by The Coast
Conceived by creative director Sabato De Sarno and immortalized by the lens of Anthony Seklaoui, the campaign launched today to present Gucci Lido embodies the liveliness and joy of those days kissed by the sun and sea breezes in which to wear sophisticated swimsuits and looks beachy makes us feel like we're on holiday.
The imminent arrival of summer is the perfect time to think about renewing your summer wardrobe with all the essentials: from the swimsuit to the straw bag, from the slippers to the look for cocktails at the end of the day. This is why Gucci today launches Gucci Lid or , a new collection that pays homage to the allure of coastal life, drawing inspiration from the enchanting beach clubs, also called Lidi, which can be found all along the Italian sea coasts.
The swimsuits range from the triangle bikini to the one-piece, the one-piece with a large side porthole, in the logo or monochromatic version, slippers in earthy colors but with bright tips such as the touch of lemon yellow, espadrilles, hat and bag in straw for the beach up to the look sets designed for wandering around seaside villages or enjoying a cocktail at sunset. Here the iconic Gucci Jackie and GG Marmont bags come into play, reimagined in straw-effect canvas and raffia variants, which can be used not only on the beach. Additionally, colorful GG canvas accessories, including the Gucci Luce and Moon Side bags, add a playful touch to the collection, while accessories with neon details give a modern twist on classic motifs.
