A guaranteed hype! In the past few weeks, no merger has been so hotly discussed and eagerly awaited as the one between the Irish designer and the Swedish fashion house. Fashion enthusiasts have long been familiar with the 34-year-old's work, as the Central Saint Martins College of Art and Design graduate has been an industry darling since her debut collection in 2010. Her historical references, the skillful mix of romantic elements with modern details, and the play with transparency, which hardly any other fashion designer has mastered as brilliantly as Rocha, have turned her from a much-acclaimed insider into a permanent fixture in recent seasons. Almost effortlessly, she manages the balancing act between a contemporary style and one that is completely removed.

The Simone Rocha x H&M collection in detail
"A tribute to Ireland, Hong Kong, texture, form, tactility, history, family, intimacy, and joy" is what her collection for H&M is supposed to be all about. What you can imagine in detail: a complete wardrobe for the whole family that ranges from her signature tulle creations for women to classic menswear with romantic details and even includes children's wear. Highlights are undoubtedly the transparent dresses, predestined for creative styling, and the classic trench coats, to which Rocha adds a dreamy touch with playful subtleties such as beaded embroidery. Also available are playful accessories - such as a hairband or earrings with sequins or shoes with stone trim. For the youngest, there are cardigans in cable knit patterns and comfortable pieces in jerseys, in addition to the characteristic mini dresses.

"I hope that the pieces in this collection will be worn and appreciated for many years to come. They have all been influenced by ideas and inspirations that have shaped me and my brand over the past 10 years, and I am so excited to see them worn out there and interpreted and styled in new ways," reads from the designer about her collection, which will be available exclusively online on the 11.03. For all fans of the brand, we recommend being quick - as in the past, the collection is likely to sell out in no time.
